Q:What is an Esthetician / Medical Esthetician?
A: An Esthetician analyzes your skin and guides you in selecting the correct skin care regimen for your skin type. We advise and perform organic and medical skin care treatments to correct and improve your skin at Preserve. A Medical/Master Esthetician has extensive education and experience that entitles an esthetician to perform Chemical Peels, Intense Pulse Light, Dermaplanning & distribute Medical Grade Skin Care to clients.
Q:Why are Skin Consultations so important?
A: We offer many services and products. We want you to understand how and why the regimen we select for you, will work for you. We take ‘before’ pictures to track your progress to ensure your getting the best treatment from our estheticians.
Q:What is the difference between Over-the Counter Products vs. Medical Grade & Professional Skin Care Products?
A: Science links Medical Grade Products to be the most penetrating into the skin. This will allow the ingredients to nourish and correct your skin to do their job. Over-the counter products have ingredients that are not as active or penetrating than Professional & Medical Grade Products. Note: Pro and Medical Grade products have to be carefully selected by your esthetician.
